We are happy to announce that the YEG STAGE live music program will soon be accepting applications for the 2025-26 season!
Live music is a wonderful addition to the ambiance at the airport and is enjoyed by both passengers and employees. Here are some important details about the program:
- YEG will be selecting 20 partner musicians to perform in the terminal.
- Solo musicians are most appropriate for simplicity, but other formats will be considered.
- These will be paid 2-hour family-friendly musical performances ($220/performance) with paid parking. Artists may also accept tips and sell CDs.
- PA, mic stands, and cables are provided (HK Polar). Artists must bring their own mic and instruments.
- Most performances will be post-security, so chosen artists must be 18+ and commit to the security screening process through Transport Canada.
- We ask that artists commit to performing three times per month. Please note that if an artist does not participate for two months in a row, they will be removed from the program.
- The program will run from July 1, 2025 - June 30, 2026.
- Applications are accepted by creating a Stagehand profile and applying to this program. Please ensure that, at a minimum, your profile includes:
- Headline
- Bio
- Press ready photos
- Socials, website, and links to music
- Feature video of the musician performing
- Applications will open on Feb 10th, 2025 and close at 5 pm on March 10th, 2025.
- From March 11th – April 11th, a panel of judges will review applications and make their selections.
- Successful applicants will be contacted on April 14th.
