Blue Willow Entertainment and Gravity offer you the opportunity to showcase your original music (plus a few covers) and compete with the best songwriters in town. Enter this bracket-style knockout competition where both the audience and judges vote to decide who advances!

Whether you're a solo artist or a duo, this is your chance to battle it out with Calgary’s most talented songwriters. Bring your original music - and a few covers if you need to, take the stage, and wow us with your talent.

Think you’ve got what it takes to make it to the top? Sign Up Today and get a chance to claim the $3000 top prize, a 3-day recording session in the Blue Willow Entertainment Studio, a recording contract and more. Weekly winners will also receive prize packages.

Rules and requirements:

1 - You must have a minimum of 5 original songs

2 - You must be able to play at least one or more of the following Round of 32 dates. October 19th, October 26th, November 2nd, November 9th. (You sing up to 3 songs, 1 song must be an original. 8 artists compete - top 4 advance)

3 - If you progress to The Sweet 16, you must be available on the following dates. November 16th, November 23rd, November 30th, December 7th. (You sing up to 3 songs, 2 songs must be an original, 8 artists compete - top 4 advance). We will assign you one of the four dates.

4 - If you progress to Elite 8, you must be available on the following dates. January11th, January 18th, (You sing up to 10 songs, 2 songs must be an original, 4 artists compete - top 2 advance) We will assign you one of the two dates.

5 - If you progress to Final 4, you must be available on the following dates. January25th, February 1st. (You sing up to 10 songs, 2 songs must be an original, and you can use the same songs from the first 3 rounds. 2 artists compete - top 1 advance) We will assign you one of the two dates.

6 - If you progress to Championship Game, you must be able to play February 8th (You sing up to 10 songs, 2 artists compete - winner announced. The more originals you use in the final the better)

When and Where:

All shows are at Gravity 909-10th ST SE and start at 2pm sharp.

Applications are open now and close on October 1st. All artists will be contacted whether successful or not. Successful artists will be provided with a Round of 32 date by October 11th. **
