Albertan singer-songwriter JOAL KAMPS has been performing his original music internationally for nearly 20 years, having toured throughout North America and Western Europe multiple times with his solo project and folk/roots duo 'Flint & Feather'. In addition to his work as a solo artist and self-taught instrumentalist, Joal is also an award-winning songwriter and artist mentor, and was selected for the privileged role of being Alberta's 'Artist in Residence / Arts Ambassador' in 2020-2021. Joal's instrumental, original, and cover work is primarily performed on classical guitar and based in the folk/roots genre, featuring fingerpicking styled pieces infused with world music accents. This accessible sound creates the perfect atmosphere for many different types of events.
