Inspired by jazz legend Mel Torme and multi Grammy award winner Kurt Elling, Jazz Works vocalist Jim Hutchison is backed by some of the best jazz musicians in Calgary. Mike Jones on piano, John McNeil on drums, Reese Perry on bass, Michael Callander on trombone and Steve Williams on tenor saxophone. This exciting little big band will perform its distinctively smooth and energetic arrangements of jazz standards ranging from up beat swing to rythmic Latin to expressive ballads.
