Two accomplished singer/songwriters from different parts of the world have come together in Calgary to form this unique acoustic folk/roots duo called Dublin2Durban. Gerry Madigan, on vocals and banjo, hails from Dublin in Ireland, where he was weaned on the booming folk scene of the seventies. Katie Windt, on vocals and guitar, comes from Durban in South Africa, where she was involved in its vibrant music scene with her own band.
