I have my BMus, majoring in Composition and Theory from the University of Alberta and a Music Diploma from Grant MacEwan University. I am a composer, songwriter, flute player, guitarist and cellist. I released my first fingerstyle guitar solo album “The Path Never Been Travelled “ back in 2013. In 2005, I attained the Best Music Arrangement Award and in 2014 the Best Lyrics Award from the Canadian Chinese Song Writer's Quest. I have had the opportunity to arranged and composed music for a radio station, TV programs and local artists. I have performed at music festivals, concerts and venues in various cities in western Canada. I enjoy playing classical, jazz, blues, folk, pop covers and original music. Aside from performing and creating music, I am also a music teacher who has over 20 years of teaching experience.
