Alfredo Mangherini, born in Bologna in 1987 Italy, passionate about music for over 15 years as a guitarist and a multi-instrumentalist, playing steadily at local events and abroad with the currently active tropical folk band “DELEF” and psychedelic-jazz-rock band “DUO ORCHESTRA+1”. The style is about a more rhythmic and classical type of music, with references to fingerstyle folk sounds, the influence of psychedelic rock and South American rhythms. Contrast is therefore born, the purpose of combining different styles, intertwining sounds and atmospheres with the final idea of creating a sound that is free from any genre label by experimenting with different styles including modal jazz, fingerstyle folk and psychedelic indie/rock. His participation with different bands and musicians around the world gave him the opportunity to gain music experience creating his own way to write music as his last EP as a solo performer called “Waves” where you can experience a melancholic guitar ambient with a hopeful background by fingerstyle picking method.
