About the artist
“Miranda Currie - A Northern Indigenous Children's Musician” 
Miranda Currie sings catchy original songs that allow all children and families to learn about indigenous language and culture. In 2022 she was was awarded Best Indigenous Artist by Music NWT and in 2015 was nominated for Aboriginal Songwriter of the year by the CMFA. With guitar in hand, and sometimes a fiddle too, she belts out songs like "Don't Panic - Eat Bannock!" or raps about the animals of the boreal forest in "Borealphabet" It's fun for the whole family!
