Classical Revolution Calgary celebrates the string quartet, with an evening featuring music by Beethoven and other revolutionary composers! Four young string players from the Calgary Philharmonic have recently formed a quartet, and this will be a early opportunity to see their new collaboration in action. Featuring Erin Burkholder and Jeremy Gabbert, violins; Jeremy Bauman, viola; and Danny Poceta, cello. They will perform Beethoven's String Quartet no. 10 ("Harp") and other works to be announced! We will welcome open mic performers following the feature performance. Cover charge of $5 goes directly to support the members of the string quartet.
