Oaitse Hellard pronounced (Why-Eat-See) also known as Ms.Oäi is locally based Jazz singer born in Botswana but raised here in Calgary. Her musical inspiration ranges from Eagles, Beatles to Miriam Makeba, Lady Smith Black Mamboza to Ella Fitzgerald and Sara Vaughn. Her diverse background growing up in Mixed family training in classical piano and in a Black Gospel Choir has lended to a clean and insightful style bringing warm R&B tones through her Soulful style.
