About the event
Elliott Steinberg finds inspiration for his singing from greats (old and new) Ella Fitzgerald and Mel Torme to Kurt Elling and Dianne Reeves. Elliott plays trumpet too, but finds great freedom in scat singing (improvisation) and wonderful expression in the beauty of a great lyric. He sings many jazz
standards, but more and more non-standards are filling his repertoire, including songs by Sting, Billy Joel, Gordon Lightfoot, and Stevie Wonder.
