NalaniDance Production is a small group of 2-5 performers who have been trained by master instructors in Hawaii. With blessing and permission, we share aloha with Calgary and surrounding areas. We specialize in Hawaiian songs and dance routines that are usually found at luau's, but our repertoire also includes songs for birthday's, wedding's, or what's known in Hawaii as kanikapila - fun, jam sessions where everyone brings their own instruments and we just play and dance to what inspires us. We perform songs that have been written in Hawaiian and English, and have been known to break out into a chant or two to give respect to history and culture that has come before us.
