Virgil Abou-Mechrek was born to perform! He grew up in a music-filled home but started making music when he took piano lessons at seven years old, from then he was hooked and took every opportunity he could find to play and share his favourite songs. After 10 years of extensive training and working on being a cover artist, he discovered the joys of songwriting and loves to play sets that mix his originals, crowd favourites, and some things from his own playlist. Virgil is a light-hearted and hardworking performer who loves to interact with audience members, whether that is before/after a show or just some silly comments between songs. He believes music can heal and bring people together, so he looks forward to sharing his art with every audience he can! Virgil is a vocalist and currently plays the ukulele and acoustic guitar to accompany himself. He primarily plays rock, pop, singer/songwriter, and folk music, but really he loves to play anything he can get his hands on!
