Over the course of a 25+ year career in music, Edmonton-based singer songwriter Everett LaRoi has not only captured the radio airwaves but played hundreds of shows across Canada, including leading up for Blue Rodeo and playing at the 2017 Calgary Folk Music Festival. Most recently, LaRoi's duo "Goldtop" (with songwriter Alice Kos) went to #1 on Alberta's CKUA Radio network charts during the summer of 2017. Currently, LaRoi has been playing solo shows highlighting new songs and deep-cuts from bands he has fronted over the years including: "Goldtop", "Manraygun" and "Idyl Tea". With tasteful guitar stylings and an intimate and engaging vocal delivery, LaRoi takes the listener on a journey through time and place with songs about back roads, the power of friendship and trying to get back to the simpler pleasures of life amidst a complicated world.
