As a teenager during the 80’s, in his hometown of Fredericton, NB, Jay toured with Musical theater group “Characters Incorporated” as a featured performer in over 100 shows per year in small theaters to arenas, headlining some of the country’s biggest festivals. Jay spent the 90’s and 2000’s in Acoustic vocal harmony trios “Boondoggle” and “The Relics”, touring the east coast party band pub and beer hall circuit. After spending the 2010’s playing Toronto’s singer songwriter and jam scene, Jay has very recently returned to Fredericton already making a name for himself in a new acoustic trio “Rustwood” and continuing his solo career as a crooner of retro rock from the 50’s - 80’s, keeping toes tapping with his unique rhythm and finger stylings.
