In 2022, Sans Bliss (aka Ian Robertson) founded the indie rock revival group | THE EXISTence | in Edmonton, featuring a full band lineup. Within two years, the band created 11+ original tracks and performed at various local Edmonton venues, including Lone Pine Distilling, Bountiful Farmers Market, Jackie Parker Park, University of Alberta - Deweys, Felice Cafe, Outdoor venues and RendezVous Pub 49. On the social media front, the band has a Linktree site, YouTube channel, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, BandCamp and fundraising presence for their music endeavours and activities. They also recorded their music and released it on Spotify and Apple Music with their debut single - Burning Flames and a second single called Half Close, Half Near. They most recently in 2024, released a 3-song vol 1 EP called behind spines and lifelines. The band continues with active fundraising and live gigs to help generate the capital to record the balance of their 11-song debut studio album (LP) titled 'Behind Spines and Lifelines' with a release anticipated in 2025.
