First taught by his father, Mark Sadlier-Brown. Then heavily influenced by the sounds and styles of Rockabilly, Old Country, Surf, Blues, Soul, MoTown and Jazz: Personally noting specific artists such Muddy Waters, Billy Cowsill, Graham Parsons, Steve Earle, Chet Baker, The Streets, BR549 Hank The Third, The Reverend Horton Heat, Del McCoury, Flats and Scruggs, Buck Owens, Bill Monroe, the Rolling Stones, Beatles, Sound Garden and so many more.
