About
My name is Joe Nolan, I am a full time road dog and professional musician and entertainer. In a typical year I will play anywhere from 200-250 shows, touring touring all over Canada, US, and Europe.
Joe Nolan — a virtuoso guitarist, poet and midnight rambler. His trusty parlor guitar may look small, but it howls like a full band in an old blues joint. He will have a room rocking one moment then strip things down to a silencing hush the next. His lyrics rival the greatest: Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen, Tom Waits. Nolan's music is both current and timeless, defying genre's and leaving audiences spellbound from the first note. Don't miss the opportunity to experience Joe Nolan live.
The Globe and Mail heralds him as the "Wunderkind to watch." With a career
adorned with accolades for his songwriting prowess, Joe Nolan has collaborated
with Juno award-winning producers Colin Linden and Hawksley Workman. His
seventh album, "Lost Verses" (2023), is currently nominated for a Canadian Folk
Music Award. Additionally, Nolan has garnered songwriting awards at the Maple
Blues Awards and received nominations from BreakOut West and CFMA.
Now, Nolan embarks on his most ambitious project yet: "Love in the New World,"
produced by Grammy Award winner Tyler Chester. This highly anticipated album
is set for release in fall 2024, Nolan's relentless touring, often logging over 200
shows a year, cements his status as the quintessential troubadour of our time. In
every performance, he leaves audiences yearning for more, proving himself as the
real deal troubadour of this day and age.
